Katrin Blucker Ludwig, Community Grants Manager, Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas
Katrin’s role at Methodist Healthcare Ministries (MHM) is to advance MHM’s mission, strategies, and goals by leading, managing, and enhancing the operational aspects of its grant making, including its regional initiatives.
Previously, Katrin founded and served as executive and artistic director of an arts nonprofit in the Chicago area. She is a teaching artist for Wolf Trap Institute for the Arts (San Antonio affiliate).
Her volunteer service includes serving as co-chair for the Texas Behavioral Health Funders Group, chair of the Strengthening Nonprofits Committee of the San Antonio Area Foundation (working to build the efficacy and sustainability of nonprofits), member the Arts and Culture Review Panel for the City of San Antonio, and member of the Southwest Region Chapter Chair of PEAK Grantmaking (2016 and 2017).
Katrin is a member of the American Evaluation Association, San Antonio Funders Group, Rural Funders Collaborative, and Puppeteers of America.
She earned a master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from North Park University and her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in theater.
